We have developed high-resolution 3D models of human heads through the process of retopology, utilizing our advanced photogrammetry rig for scanning.

These models feature detailed attributes, including eyeballs, teeth, and tongues. Accompanying the models are textures ranging from 8K to 16K resolution, available in both TGA and PNG formats. The models are optimized for real-time rendering, with normal maps extracted from the included 8 subdivision ZTL source model. Additionally, we provide diffuse, specular, gloss, displacement AO, cavity, and thickness maps for real-time rendering.

Our retopologized 3D heads have a range of practical applications:

Animation and Rigging:

The clean and optimized geometry of the retopologized head scans makes them ideal for animation and rigging purposes. Artists and animators can use these scans as a foundation to create models that are easy to animate, with efficient edge flow and topology. This ensures smoother deformations during facial animations and simplifies the rigging process.

Realistic Rendering:

Retopologized head scans can be employed in computer graphics and rendering to achieve high-quality and lifelike visual results. The optimized topology provides better control over surface details and ensures smoother shading transitions, resulting in more accurate and visually appealing renderings.

Facial Expression Capture:

Retopologized head scans serve as a valuable resource for capturing and reproducing facial expressions. By mapping facial landmarks and control points to the optimized mesh, animators and developers can create systems that track and mimic real-time facial movements and expressions. This technology finds particular utility in facial animation, virtual avatars, and interactive applications.

3D Printing and Prototyping:

Retopologized head scans can be utilized for 3D printing and rapid prototyping purposes. The optimized geometry allows for faster and more precise fabrication of physical models, including custom prosthetics, facial reconstruction models for medical applications, or replicas for artistic and cultural preservation.

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality:

In virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) applications, retopologized head scans are invaluable for creating realistic and immersive experiences. By integrating these optimized scans into virtual or augmented environments, developers can generate lifelike avatars, enable realistic facial tracking, and seamlessly integrate virtual content with the real world.

Biometric Analysis & A.I. Machine Learning:

Retopologized head scans find use in biometric analysis, particularly in facial recognition and identification. The optimized topology enables more accurate feature extraction and matching algorithms, which have applications in security systems, access control, and forensic investigations.
